We welcome all patients to join our Patient Participation Group (PPG).
We aim to gather patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative group. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from the various ethnic groups in our practice area.
The information below is how the PPG operated pre-COVID. We are working with the core group to establish online methods of meeting and hope publicise new online meetings in the near future.
Regular PPG meetings usually take place on the second Tuesday of alternate months throughout the year, February to December, at the Shipley Library held at 1.30 – 2.30pm. Occasionally – if there is demand for it – further meetings may be scheduled on days other than Tuesdays.
These meetings have been casual with usually a talk from one of our clinicians and a further guest speaker. This was followed by tea/coffee and time for a chat with fellow patients and all patients are welcome to attend.
Whilst we realise the Windhill Green venue may not be convenient for everyone, we plan to hold some Health Education Meetings when COVID allows us to throughout the year at both the Saltaire and Cottingley practices which we will advertise for you nearer these events.
